If you are using a Nokia Windows Phone, then Dolby will give you better sound quality for your music files.

First insert your headphones, then go to Settings – Audio. From here you can adjust some predetermined settings or else you can swipe right and press Playback. This will enable Dolby playback which will improve the sound quality measurably.

To PIN music or playlists to your start menu, go to your Music player.

Then select the music file or playlist you want.

Then Press and Hold on an item and select Pin to start

To get directions to a location, you need to begin from the home screen. Then go to Apps – Maps and select Directions.

Then enter an address or place of interest, like a shop or restaurant and press Go.

Then choose either Walking or Driving. The phone will then calculate a route.

To show real-time traffic information select the More button and select Show Traffic.

To dial using Country Codes that are stored in your contact list, go to Settings – Applications – Phone – International assist

If you would like your phone to announce who is calling you, then from the homescreen, scroll to the right and choose Settings. Then Easy of access. Then press Speech for phone accessibility.

To share a website with a friend, then browse to the website you want to share.

Then Press and Hold on a hyperlink, then select Share. You can then choose how to share the site.

To move a tile to another location, simply press and hold a tile. Then drag it to another location

To PIN applications to your start menu then scroll across to your Applications list.

Then Press and Hold on an application. Then select Pin to start.

You can then go to your Start screen and Press and Hold to move the App around.

To play your whole music collection, go into the Music and Videos area and press the Play button there.

This will start playing all your music.

To turn off roaming while abroad, go to Settings – Mobile network – Roaming.

This can save you from getting stung on high call charges while overseas.
