Try setting the typing rate to Medium Fast

When entering text press Alt + Scroll Left to jump to the start of the line, or Alt + Scroll Right to jump to the end of the line

B – Move to Bottom of Inbox
T – Move to Top of Inbox
C – Compose message
J – Move to next related message
K – Move to previous related message
U – Move to next unopened item
W – Add a flag to a message
Alt + F – View flagged messages
Alt + I – View received messages / call logs
Alt + O – View Send Messages
Alt + P – View call logs
Alt + S – View Text Messages
Alt + U – Mark message an opened / unopened
Alt + V – View Voice Mail Messages

To take notes while on the phone – while you are speaking, press the Trackpad. Then navigate to the Notes icon. Then create a note. This will then attach a note to the Contact you are speaking with

Warning: These techniques can erase ALL data on your phone. Make sure you backup your device, if possible.

There are two types of reset:.

The First is a standard BlackBerry Security Wipe, which will remove security policies and third-party apps from the phone. From the homescreen, press the BlackBerry key and select Options. Then select Security Options – Security Wipe. Then check the items that you want to wipe. Then type blackberry in the box, as instructed. Then select Wipe.

The Second option is a Reset to Factory Defaults, which will restore the operating system you are currently running on your phone, although it won’t remove third-party Apps. To do this you need to install the BlackBerry Desktop Software and open it on your computer. In the top-right corner, you will see a ‘Help’ question mark. Click this and choose Support Resources – Support Tools. Then in the section that says Reset to Factory Settings, click Reset.

When browsing on your BlackBerry you may notice images can be quite blurry or distorted. This is because your network provider is compressing the images before they are downloaded on to your phone’s browser.

Unfortunately there is no way to prevent this from happening, but if you have a WiFi connection nearby, then you can turn WiFi on. This will mean that all image downloads come through the WiFi connection, rather than your carrier, and the images should appear normally.
