If you prefer not to have the 'Sent from my Windows Phone' message at the bottom of emails, then here is how to remove it:

Go into Mail and press the 3 dots at the bottom of the screen. Select Settings and change it there

This is useful if you don't want people to know that emails are being sent from your phone.

Go to the People section and find a coloured Title (the colour will depend on your Theme). Press the tile and an alphabet should appear. Start typing the name of the contact you want to dial and it will appear

To PIN people to your start menu, go to your People list and find the person you want to add.

Then Press and Hold on an item and select Pin to start

If you would like to join your email inboxes so that all messages appear in the same space, then you can Link them.

First go to one email account you want to link and press the symbol that looks like three full stops. Then select Link inboxes and choose two inboxes you want to link together.

To play your whole music collection, go into the Music and Videos area and press the Play button there.

This will start playing all your music.

To dial using Country Codes that are stored in your contact list, go to Settings - Applications - Phone - International assist

To add Google Calendar to your phone, go to Settings - Emails - Google email.

From here you can sync your emails, contacts and calendar to the phone.

To get directions to a location, you need to begin from the home screen. Then go to Apps - Maps and select Directions.

Then enter an address or place of interest, like a shop or restaurant and press Go.

Then choose either Walking or Driving. The phone will then calculate a route.

The phone has a Facebook application, but you can also integrate Facebook with the phone operating system. First you need to setup your account. Go to Settings - Email & accounts and set it up there
